Drabble: Heart.

"Clara, I'm not your boyfriend."

The words were like a suckerpunch right in her heart.

In an instant, images flooded her mind.

Stolen kisses.

Tender caresses in the dark.

Soft words whispered oh-so-seductively into her ear, often without realization.

Her fingers woven into floppy hair, her head thrown back, in ecstasy. Her shaky voice calling out his chosen name like a mantra, over and over again, as soft, full lips explore the delicate flesh between her thighs.

Her thighs wrapped around slim hips, her small hands moving over slender arms and a slender back. Soft moans and whimpers and grunts, as he moved against her, filling her to her very core with his hot, hard flesh.

Passion beyond words, beyond comphrension.

She looks up at him, from her reverie, from her bittersweet memories of the beautiful young man she adored so much, to the older man standing in front of her, who is like a stranger, but somehow isn't.

"I never said you were." she says, in an effort to defend herself. But deep down, she wonders, if he wasn't her boyfriend, why did he make love to her? Not once, not twice, but dozens of times?

What he says next completely shatters her already broken heart into what feels like a million pieces.

"I never said it was your mistake."
